Education For Employment (EFE) is the leading nonprofit that trains youth and links them to jobs across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This pivotal region is the hardest place on the planet for youth to get their first job – they are three times more likely to be unemployed than older adults.

Finding a Job is a Job is a core work-readiness course that focuses on the skills and discipline needed to conduct an effective job search. The program consists of direct training classes supplemented by take-home and independent exercises and activities.

The Job Training and Placement program is a unique business model based on assessing labor market needs and understanding the skills and competencies most valued by employers. The training equips graduates with the necessary skills needed to start their careers.

The Mentorship Program supports recent graduates from EFE training programs by connecting them with volunteer mentors sourced from corporate partners, local employer partners, and EFE alumni. The program gives mentees an opportunity to receive personalized guidance from those experienced in the workforce through a confidential and safe relationship to express ideas and questions about their careers. This in turn provides a diversity of thought and a deeper understanding of values and leadership.

Fundaula is a Learning Management System developed by Accenture, Spain – which hosts online training materials comprised of soft skills and digital knowledge, in the English language, aimed to develop youth skill levels and increase their chances of finding employment opportunities. This program targets University/ College/ TVET students in their final year of study.
