“At the beginning I had not realized that dealing with the elderly requires special skills, but through the training I had gained sufficient skills to work with them and meet their needs – whether psychological and/or health. As for the Work Readiness training, it was extremely beneficial when constructing my CV, acquiring the job, and interacting with patients and people daily.” Mohammed, further shed light on the importance of First Aid training in general and especially when dealing with the elderly.
After completing the EFE- Palestine’s nursing and elderly care training program, through which he received (ACLS) and (BLS) certifications that are accredited by (AHA), Mohammad received a paid internship at The Palestinian Red Crescent at the elderly care department.
